Summary: Thank you for visiting my page. I started my teaching career 12 years ago in Carroll County at Whitesburg Elementary School. I taught 2nd grade there for 5 years. Although I loved working with the people at Whitesburg Elem. and building friendships with parents and students, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to work closer to home. I live only minutes from Willis Road Elementary where I have taught since the school opened in 2002. There I have taught 2nd grade and currently Kindergarten. I enjoy working in the garden, watching HGTV and spending time at home with my husband Joe and sons Chase and Colt.
