Using the built in Image Editor, you can easily crop images that have been uploaded using the Image Manager.

To Crop an image

1) Open the Image Manager from the Editor toolbar

2) Select the image to be cropped by clicking the Pencil tool directly under the image



*Clicking the Pencil tool produces the image displayed in the Image Editor pop up window


Click the "Crop" tool icon in the top left corner of the Image Editor window

Use your mouse to select (click, hold and draw) a box around the area you wish to keep.

Advanced users: Use the XY & WH boxes to specify the location and size of the area to be cropped


Tip: If you are not satisfied with your selection, click the "Resize" tool icon and then click the "Crop" tool icon, this will reset the crop tool so you can try again without leaving the Image Editor.

When you are satisfied with your selection, click the "Do It"  button
Your new cropped image is displayed int he Image Editor window


Click the "Save As" button

Click the "Save and Exit" button

Your new image is saved to the Image Manager.

Note: Editing does not replace the original image, rather, it adds a new edited image, usually just to the right of your original



Select the new image and click "OK" to place it on your page
